BRIEF –
Hotel on Rivington, the coolest hotel on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, needed a fresh look to match its young and trendy demographic. From a novel website redesign to new collateral and marketing and advertising options, this contemporary hotel got a much-needed design overhaul.
VISUAL DIRECTION –
To appeal to the hotel’s stylish guests, I chose a simple sans serif typeface combined with a sophisticated color palette of deep gray and taupe. To keep the look and feel consistent across a large quantity of collateral and print material, I developed a basic icon system that compliments the neighborhood aesthetic, and is easily recognizable in use.

COVERAGE –
The Hotel on Rivington’s new identity was successfully launched with a website reveal and over 50 pieces of hospitality collateral. Luggage tags, welcome notes, door hangers, key cards, room info sheets, room service menus, apparel, and stationery — all to make the Lower East Side guests feel at home.
